How to share a Journey
Overview
Use the Share modal to share a Journey with teammates or external stakeholders. You can share an internal link with workspace members, create a public link for anyone outside TheyDo, control what viewers can open, and add password protection for extra security.
Share with team members
To share a Journey with people in your workspace:
- Open the Journey you want to share.
- Click the Share button in the top right corner.
- In the Share tab, copy the internal link.
- Send the link to your teammates.
Only members of your workspace can access this link.
Share with anyone (public link)
Use a public link when sharing a Journey with external stakeholders who don't have access to your workspace.
- Open the Journey you want to share.
- Click the Share button in the top right corner.
- In the Share tab, toggle on Anyone with the link can view.
- Copy the public link and share it.
Anyone with the link can view the Journey without logging in.
Control what viewers can open
When sharing publicly, you can choose which building blocks viewers are allowed to expand:
- Personas
- Insights
- Opportunities
- Solutions
Building blocks that are unchecked will still appear in the Journey, but viewers won't be able to open them in detail.
Add password protection
To restrict who can view a public Journey:
- In the Share tab, toggle on Enable password protection.
- Enter a password.
- Save your changes.
Viewers will need to enter the password before they can open the Journey.
Note: You can turn off the public link at any time to immediately revoke access.
Export as PDF
You can also export a Journey as a high-resolution PDF — useful for presentations, printing, or sharing with people who prefer a static file. The Export tab is in the same Share modal.
See How to export a Journey for more details.
Tips
- Use public links for external stakeholders, feedback sessions, or client reviews.
- Password protection is a good option when sharing sensitive or work-in-progress Journeys.
- Uncheck building blocks you don't want viewers to explore in detail.
