How to delete your organization or account

Overview

This article explains how to delete an Organization in TheyDo, and how to request the deletion of your personal account. Use this guide if you're wrapping up a workspace or need to remove your account entirely.

Delete an Organization

Before you start

You need to be an Admin of the Organization to delete it.

Steps

  1. Click your profile picture in the top right corner and select Settings.
  2. Go to the Organization tab.
  3. Next to the Update Organization button, click Delete Organization.
  4. Type the full name of your Organization to confirm.
  5. Click Delete.

Your Organization will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.

Delete your account

Account deletion is a manual process handled by the TheyDo team.

To request deletion, send an email to support@theydo.com with the email address you use to log in to TheyDo. The team will confirm once your account has been removed.

Tips

  • Deleting an Organization is permanent — make sure to export any data you need before proceeding.
  • If you're not sure whether to delete an Organization or just leave it, consider reaching out to support first.
