What is the TheyDo Agent?
Overview
The TheyDo Agent is your conversational AI inside TheyDo. Ask it questions about your journeys, get summaries and analysis, and now — with Edit mode — create and edit journey content directly through conversation.
What the TheyDo Agent does
The Agent reasons over the journey intelligence already in your workspace: journeys, phases, steps, insights, opportunities, solutions, metrics, and Data Hub sources. Instead of navigating complex structures manually, you can explore and act on that content by asking questions in plain language.
There are two modes:
Read mode — the Agent retrieves, synthesizes, and advises. It can summarize journeys, surface patterns, identify gaps, and answer questions about your workspace content.
Edit mode — the Agent creates and edits journey content directly through conversation. Build a journey skeleton from a transcript. Find insights across your workspace and map them where they belong. Rewrite descriptions in your team's voice — at scale. Every edit is proposed before it's applied, so nothing changes without your approval.

Build journey content from scratch
Drop in a transcript or Data Hub source and ask the Agent to build a journey skeleton with phases, steps, and empty lanes — ready to fill with insights. Useful when starting a new journey and facing a blank canvas.
Map and organize insights at scale
Ask the Agent to search insights across your workspace and propose where they belong in a journey. Helpful for workspaces with fragmented or unmapped research.
Rewrite and format descriptions
Ask the Agent to rewrite insight or building block descriptions in your team's format and voice — across multiple items at once.
Work with Data Hub
Search for specific topics across your data, filter by source or date range, and find relevant quotes and supporting evidence quickly.

Before you start
- The TheyDo Agent must be enabled for your workspace. Admins can turn this on in Settings → Details & AI → AI in this organization.
- Edit mode is a separate toggle from read mode. Admins can enable read, write, or both per workspace.
- The Agent can only access content you have permission to view or edit in TheyDo. Editing with the Agent follows your existing workspace role permissions.

The TheyDo Agent is an AI-powered tool and responses may vary in accuracy. Review outputs before using them for decision-making or sharing externally. You can give feedback using the thumbs up/down buttons in the interface.
