How to use the Quotes Library
Overview
The Quotes Library gives you a workspace-level view of all your quotes in one place. Instead of hunting for quotes inside individual insights or surveys, you can browse, search, filter, and manage your entire quotes dataset from Data Hub. It's especially useful for spotting gaps in your data — like quotes that haven't been linked to any insight yet — and fixing them at scale.
Steps
- Go to Data Hub from the left navigation.
- Select the Quotes tab at the top of the page.
- Your full quotes library loads in a paginated, searchable view.
What you can do
Search and filter
- Use full-text search to find quotes by keyword across all quote content.
- Filter by source, tags, or insight link status.
- Filter for no linked insight to instantly surface orphaned quotes — ones that haven't been connected to evidence yet.
- Combine filters to narrow down exactly what you need.
Understand your data
- Each quote shows the title of its linked insight, plus a badge for any additional links, so you can immediately see what's covered and what isn't.
- Sort by title, date created, date updated, date sourced, experience impact, or personas to prioritize your review.
Manage quotes in bulk
In the Quotes tab, select multiple quotes to tag or delete them in one action.
To link a quote to an insight, use the insight add popover on the quote itself. To unlink, open the quote when it's scoped to a specific insight.
Bulk operations save time when you're cleaning up after a large import or fixing incorrectly mapped data.
Save views for repeated use
Create and save filtered views (for example, "Unlinked quotes from Q1 survey") so you can come back to the same filter combination without setting it up again.
Tips
- The "no linked insight" filter is the fastest way to audit your data quality and find quotes that need attention.
- After tagging or linking quotes in bulk, save a view of your remaining unlinked quotes to track cleanup progress over time.
- Export to CSV is not available in this release.
