Map TheyDo solutions to Azure DevOps boards (not just projects)

Until now, solutions created from TheyDo were always added to the top-level of an Azure DevOps project.

For teams that organize their work into sub-boards (like Go-to-market, Growth, or Product Discovery), this meant extra manual work to move items to the right board after they were created.

So, we decided to make Azure DevOps integration more flexible. You can now map a TheyDo solution to a specific board (area path) within an Azure DevOps project, instead of being limited to the top-level project.

This ensures features land exactly where they belong from the start—no cleanup required.

How it works

When connecting or configuring an Azure DevOps solution, you can now select a board (area path) as well as a project.

This is especially helpful for B2C teams and others working with multiple boards under a single project.
