    Your Goals section is the new compass for all of your Journey Management work.


    It’s important to keep business goals at the forefront of all your Journey Management work—this is what allows you to gain visibility, achieve leadership and stakeholder buy-in, and impact your organization’s bottom line with improved customer experience.

    With the Goals feature, you can collaborate with your team to set achievable business goals under which all of your journey work will sit. 

    The overarching guide to everything

    We recommend setting Goals at the start of your journey work. Once those are agreed upon and visible to your entire team within the Goals section, you can dig into journeys and easily link Opportunities and Solutions to the end Goal. This is a surefire way to maintain clear direction and focus by positioning company goals as the umbrella for everything you do.

    Working on an Opportunity or Solution that you can’t find a business Goal for? Maybe it’s time to re-evaluate and make sure you’re focusing on the right things.


    Visualize progress with Opportunity-Solution trees

    Once you’ve identified and linked Opportunities and Solutions back to your business Goals, access your Goals section to visualize progress and the steps that got you there. This is a great resource for pulling stakeholders onboard—it’s a singular place where business Goals and customer needs come together. 

    From the main view of Goals you can also easily track who’s responsible for each identified Opportunity and Solution, as well as who’s responsible for the overall business Goal. This keeps everyone up to date and accountable for their piece of the work.

    Advanced nesting capabilities

    The Goals section allows for advanced Opportunity and Solution nesting, so that you can organize and showcase a structured path towards tying business goals and customer needs together. Give your Opportunities and Solutions a structure, such as an “Epics, Stories, Tasks” hierarchy for Solutions. 


    Get started with Goals

    All Journeys that impact your business Goal will appear in the Journeys tab of your Goals section, so you can easily see the customer context in which they operate. Return to your Goals section often to stay focused and on track.

    Since Journey Management is the process of aligning business goals with customer needs, using journeys as the heart of collaboration, you’ll see the Goals section at the very top of your sidebar—so you never lose sight of business Goals in your daily work.
