Content, structure and governance permissions for Journeys

The all-or-nothing Editor permission for journeys is gone. Admins can now assign one of three permission levels, each building on the previous:

  • Content: Link building blocks and add content within journey lanes, including text, images, and tags.

  • Structure: Automatically gets 'Content', plus ability to edit phases, steps, lanes, saved views, and journey metadata.

  • Governance: Automatically gets 'Structure and Content', plus abilities to create / delete / duplicate / lock / share journeys, and to manage templates.

Impact

Lets you open up journey contribution broadly (Content) while keeping structural and governance authority with the right people.

Details

  • Existing Editor roles are automatically migrated to Governance level — no action needed. Reconfigure only if you want tighter control.

  • Also shipped: Insight imports now match existing taxonomy items even without taxonomy edit rights, instead of erroring out.
