Once mining completes, a right-side panel automatically opens titled "Journey Mining Review."

Review Options

You have three immediate options:

  • Accept all - Apply all mined insights to your journey

  • Reject all - Discard all mined insights

  • Review insights - Review each insight individually

Panel Flexibility

The review panel is flexible:

  • Refresh the journey - the panel will reopen automatically

  • Reopen later by clicking "Mine insights" → "Review previous mining results"

This allows you to explore the journey and return to the review process when ready.

Understanding the Summary

The review panel starts with an overview of what was done:

Quick Stats

  • Number of new insights created (e.g., "7 new insights")

  • Number of quotes processed (e.g., "14 quotes")

  • Number of sources analyzed (e.g., "1 source")

AI-Generated Summary

Below the stats, an AI summary provides context with four sections:

  1. Why it matters - Explains the significance of the insights (e.g., "reveals customer preferences and pain points")

  2. Big picture - Overview of what was generated

  3. Key points - Highlights recurring themes and patterns (e.g., product durability, store experience)

  4. Bottom line - Actionable suggestions for what to prioritize

Top Insights and Top Changes

The summary includes two ranked sections:

Top Insights

Shows newly created insights ranked by score (highest to lowest)

Example:

  1. Quality and durability (0.35)

  2. Store experience (0.28)

  3. Product selection (0.22)

Top Changes

Shows enriched insights ranked by the biggest change in score

Note: If your mining only created new insights (no enrichments), you'll only see the "Top insights" section.

Visual Indicators

Each insight card displays clear visual cues:

  • "New" indicator bubble - Shows the insight is newly created

Common Scenarios

Scenario 1: Empty Journey

When mining insights into a new, empty journey:

  • All insights will be "new"

  • You'll see "Top insights" only (no "Top changes")

  • Focus on accepting insights that establish your journey foundation

Scenario 2: Enriching Existing Journey

When mining insights into an existing journey with insights:

  • You'll see both "new" and "enriched" insights

  • Score changes show how existing insights were strengthened

  • "Top changes" highlights the most significantly improved insights

Scenario 3: Multiple Sources

When mining from multiple sources simultaneously:

  • The summary shows total quotes and number of sources

  • Quotes from different sources can support the same insight

  • Review quote sources to ensure diverse evidence

Tip: You can always return to review previous mining results by clicking "Mine insights" and selecting "Review previous mining results" - your review progress is saved.
