Interviewing at TheyDo

We commit to giving timely feedback regardless of whether you receive a job offer from us or not. If there are any areas we can improve on, please do let us know.

Our Hiring Process

Our hiring process consists of four separate rounds. We appreciate you’re interviewing us too!

  1. Talent Partner Interview - you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about TheyDo and share why you may make a great fit for this role.

  2. Hiring Manager Interview - you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the role and share your technical expertise and knowledge.

  3. Practical Interview - you’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate that you can do the role e.g. pair programming for engineers, a case study, role-play in sales etc. There will also be time for any questions from your side, that are important to you.

  4. Final Round Interviews - you’ll meet one of our Co-Founders and also take part in a values interview. If you have any final burning questions, this is the perfect time to ask them.

Please do note, there may be exceptions e.g. leadership roles. If you have any questions related to the process don’t hesitate to reach out to your Talent Partner, who is here to help you!

Setting up for success

  • Scheduling: Need to reschedule an interview? Don’t worry, it happens! Do give your Talent Partner as much notice as you can, and provide a few dates & times, as this will help us to reschedule the call more efficiently for you. Please do decline the invite if the date and time no longer work for you.

  • Questions: We try our best to ensure there is adequate time at the end of each interview for you to ask the interviewer some questions. Use this time to get a deeper understanding of the position, our company or areas that are better answered by someone other than the Talent Partner. This will help ensure a mutual fit.

How to prepare?

We use Google Meet for all of our interviews. Please familiarise yourself with the platform if you haven’t used it before e.g. how to screen-share, change your background if you wish etc.
